The Lisbonaire Apartments is Experimenta´s inception in the hotel industry, by invitation of a young company, with a solid background in cultural and entrepreneurial fields.

Experimenta took on the creative direction of The Lisbonaire Apartments, developing different aspects such as product design, graphic design, branding, and identity.

Each of the 19 apartments invokes a specific instant or place that provoked the designers, who created unique pieces that decorate each apartment.

The design studio Pedrita designed the furnishings of the apartments, that were manufactured by Viriato Hotel Concept, from Paredes, under a protocol established by Experimenta and the Municipality to promote design.

Ricardo Mealha created the identity.

The light, the river, the tiles, the reflexes, trams, the traditional trade, the vendors of numb nuts and chestnuts, the cherry brandy (ginginha), the large square and the theater, the Chiado and the Camões ... Lisbon is a patchwork quilt of various ages and characters, unique in its uniqueness.

For Rita João and Pedro Ferreira, the collection of objects designed for The Lisbonaire is also like that. They are fragments of objects and stories they met and liked or never knew but who ultimately " match up" with those who live in the city.

Using traditional construction methods, the function is assumed on the form and results in a line of objects apparently without formal connection or ready material, but in line with the preexistence of the apartments and able to connect to the activities of the invited graphic designers.

The designed items include lamps, side tables, sofa, bed, meal table and chair, desk, TV module and module for storage and hangers. The finishes range from eucalyptus wood and walnut, wenge wood stains tones, lacquered white and black, textured fabrics and applications in synthetic skin.
